What's the take away?
Financial systems can be weaponized only if global hegemony persists.
What to do? Build many non-financial platforms offering a diverse variety of substitute systems linking them all seamlessly.
Control of purchasing power can be returned to its people.
In both instances, state level actions caused massive losses upon hapless dependents of local financial institutions.
Regardless of explicit US action or inaction, human losses are measured relative to dollar purchasing power and hunger.
Compare Yemen and Venezuela.
Both have currency and inflation woes.
One looks self-inflicted by bad policy, the other looks externally and internally produced.
Are regulated financial systems used as a weapon to deter behavior or inflict harm upon opponents?
